Willie from DAY 26 NAKED !
Naked pictures had leaked of Day 26 bandmate Willie Taylor last month, he quickly denied their authenticity on Twitter. Today an internet hacker put out more naked pictures with his face and tattoos that confirm his identity. Willie changed his story and then said those were meant for his wife. Someone hacked into his email account and leaked the photos.
YOHH Thinks: It's always the same thing with these celebrities, how are soo easily hacked? If he was even hacked and this isn't just another publicity stunt. If you are going to have those kind of pictures on your computer either create a harder password or delete them !! Willie, no one needed to see your willie. lol

Donald Trumps Kanye!
After Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech after she won Best Female Video at last night's Video Music Awards, Donald Trump has reportedly called for a boycott of all things Kanye-related "so this kind of thing doesn't happen again."
Yearofhiphop View: I think the boycott is kinda pointless there are many things wrong in this world. Mr. Trump have to much power to be focused on kanye west instead of something that matters like HEALTH CARE!.
Do you think this boycott is necessary or do you think donald trump should focus his time on something that matters??

Enough is Enough
In this changing world we live in it's difficult to fathom the fact that people's mentalities are not able to expand and adapt to the changes as quickly as others. Knowledge is power, right? Why is it that we refuse to embrace "our" culture instead of constantly shoot it down. Someone always has an opinion of what artist are doing wrong, calling them fake, what they should be doing. Hardly do we choose to say something constructive or supportive to help lift each other up instead we are constantly bringing each other down. Everyday i read or see something on the web or on T.V that to be honest is just ridiculous and/or childish. What prompted me to write this is a 3 page article i read on HipHopDX that just disappointed me. This guy was very passionate about his feelings towards Drake and his success. He said Drake lacked struggle and has not "proven" himself and he went on the Define hip hop music as struggle. I will not say whether i am a Drake fan or not because i feel it will discredit the point i am trying to make. I don't know what century this guy is living in but music in general as evolved tremendously over time and to even attempt to define Hip Hop is absurd. There is no clear definition because you have rappers rapping about ranges of things from flossing, hoes, struggles, knowledge, to shaking your ass and so on and so forth. Isn't it all in the realm of Hip Hop? They are all at the end of the day hip hop artist.
Beefs and he said she said type things are just played out. Are we adults or are we children? Instead of focusing to heavily on what someone else is doing maybe we should focus on what we are doing, then maybe we can stop blaming other people for our lack of success or advancement. Nobody owes you anything. Understand that. Opinions are like assholes everyone has one. Learn to differentiate between relevance and just being a straight hater. There is no such thing as bad publicity, so whether you talking shit or praising them, either way your talking about them. Next time you go to say something negative about somebody take a look at yourself.
We say we love hip hop and the culture but we are the first to go in on eachother. We hinder eachother more then we help. We segregate genres like we do the culture. If everyone was the same or did the same kind of music we would be bored. As soon as someone has the balls to go outside the box we criticize that as well. I'ts a lose, lose. Open your minds and lets be trendsetters and innovators, lets set the example only then can we really evolve.

SisQo's Denying His Son !?
Here is another case of a Celebrity not wrapping it up and then denying their seeds. SMH.
Sisqo denies ever being with then 14-year-old Jamilla. Now she’s 25-years-old and trying to prove that Sisqo is the father. Nothing a simple DNA test can't prove, right? He might just be watching his back because Jamilla was only 14 when he was involved with her. We will see how the story plays out. What do you think? You can't deny the resemblance.

Jay-Z Addresses T-Pain
Jay-Z addresses the T-Pain incident and talks about his candid interview with Oprah on an interview with Ed Lover and Free, the Oprah interview is set to air on Sept.24.
I wonder why T-Pain waited so long to say something about D.O.A. He's not the only one that's done auto tune, why is he taking it soo personal? Maybe Jay single handedly ruined his career with one Hot Track. Who knows. The "everyone hates Jay-Z saga continues." lol

J. Ivy "Never Let Me Down"
Def Poetry Jam was definetely one of my favorite shows to watch on TV. I loved the fact that bright, articulate poets were given a place to showcase and share their poetry with everyone. They also had a lot of great rappers and artist showcasing their lyrics, allowing people to look at Hip Hop in a whole new light. It's not all money, cars and hoes. Y'all might remember this particular spoken word on Kanye West album, "The College Dropout" feat Jay-Z. This part of the song grabbed my attention because this was around the time that Def Poetry Jam was on TV and i just loved how deep it was. It just a step above any kind rap. It inspired me to write poetry and express myself just like music does for all you artist out there. Check it out.

Meet BDotJay
ChiLL feat. Blessed & DeMeat - B [dot] Jay
Cypher - B [dot] Jay
BDotJay is an upcoming rapper/producer getting a lot of buzz. Cool assss guy and i thought y'all should know more about him. He's a feature artist on www.yearofhiphop.com, check him out there and at:
www.weirdoeclothing.com
www.myspace.com/bdotjay
www.twitter.com/bdotjay
Who is B.Dot?
B [dot] is a 17 y.o. college freshmen that was drawn into music since he was born. & an avid lover of ramen noodles .
Why do you think people are drawn to your music?
Mainly because I'm different & I do & say what others are afraid to, while doing it on a dope beat.
What artist do you listen too?
Depends on the day lol . One day its Drake, Kid Cudi, & Charles Hamilton . The next day it could be Kanye, Biggie, & Wiz Khalifa . Then I might switch it to Justin Nozuka, T-ReQ, & Chester French . So it all basically depends on my mood .
Who would you compare your sound too? Why?
I really dont compare myself to other artists but I've heard I sound like a mix between The Cool Kids & Pharrell . Then on another note I've heard that I flow like Weezy with a Lupe style . I admire all of those artists so I take em as a compliment .
What is your favorite song on your on your upcoming Mixtape Diamonds, Dunkz and Backpackz?
Awh man . I'm about to sound like a "rapper" when I say this lol . But all of the songs are like my children, I just can't choose one . The meaning of each song makes it stand out on its own . Like my song called "iLL.Ness" is one of my deepest tracks to date, it talks about how my mother wanted an abortion while pregnant with me & it talks about my first heartbreak . Then you have a song like "NewKidOnTheBlock" that starts off at a club on "Open Mic Night" and there are two performances one by Benjamin Dotavious & one by B [dot] Jay . In that song you'll learn the differences between the two.
When is that dropping?
My brother ReQ is mixing songs as I type this . But I'm hoping the 1st week of august .
If you could work with any artist who would it be (new, and old)?
Thats a good question . Since KanYe is my favorite artist I would have to say him & the Neptunes . & older rappers ? hmm I would say Biggie because I think it would be beyond dope to have Biggie's wordplay & my flow on a track .
What is your opinion on the current state of hip hop, and where do u fit in ?
I honestly think Hip Hop is in a good state. Not every rapper can be a Lupe or Jay-Z . People hate the dance music, I don't know why, when dancing is one of Hip Hop's main elements . I get mad when its becomes over-saturated though . Like the New Boyz came out with the Jerk movement, but I bet that over 20 new artists get signed thats part of the jerking and its gonna get tiriing after a while. But with people like Drake, Cudi, Charles Hamilton, FrXsh, T-ReQ & myself in the game you'll have nothing to worry about.
Celebrity Crush?
Keri Hilson, Nikki Jean [On Lupe's "HipHop Changed My Life"] & Roxy Reynolds owww lol
Favorite pair of shoes?
Any Nike Dunks, my 1st loves
Why are you, YEAROFHIPHOP?
I'm YOHH because I represent the new class of musical geniuses. Death to these wack rappers. *Raises sword in the air*
